Smithsonian Releases Millions of Images to the Public

Continuing with a trend of creating digital 'museums' the Smithsonian Institute has released millions of images to the public under the Creative Commons CC0 license. The CC0 license allows the public to use and display the work without permission or attribution. The creator releases the work from the copywrite license. The Benevolent Expert will use these images and try to attribute any images under CC0 to the provider.
